What do I get in the Acrylic Point Colors pack of 6?
This pack contains six containers of acrylic paint. They're all different colours. These colors—such as red, blue, yellow, green, black, and white—are typically the fundamental ones you need for painting. These can be used exactly as is or combined to create different colours on a palette. In essence, it is a starter set of six colourful acrylic paints for crafts and artwork.
Are these paints safe and non-toxic, especially for kids?
Yes, the acrylic paints in this set are safe to use and non-toxic. Since they are water-based, they don't contain any of the toxic chemicals or strong fumes that oil-based paints may. Because of this, older children, teenagers, and adults can use them for hobbies or school projects. (Although the paint is designed to be safe, it's always a good idea for an adult to watch over younger children when they use it to avoid any unintentional mess or ingestion.)
How do I use these acrylic paints?
They are simple to use. A small amount of the colour can be squeezed or poured onto a plate or palette. Next, paint the surface you're painting (paper, canvas, wood, etc.) with a paintbrush. You can use acrylic paint directly from the container for a strong opaque colour or dilute it with a small amount of water to make it lighter or smoother. Work with a small amount at a time because it dries rather quickly. To get the exact shade you desire, you can also mix colours on your palette. Because acrylic dissolves in water, wash your brushes with water after painting.
What surfaces can I paint on with these acrylic colors?
Acrylic paints are incredibly adaptable. Paper, canvas, cardboard, wood, and even rocks can all be painted on! Acrylics are frequently used for art on thick paper or stretched canvas. They can also be used for crafts, such as painting on wood or terracotta pots. Because acrylic can peel off extremely slick surfaces, make sure the surface is not overly glossy (very shiny plastic may require a base coat). However, these paints will adhere well and produce vibrant colours on the majority of common materials, including clay, paper, poster board, and cloth.
Will the paint wash out of clothes and how do I store the paints?
Because acrylic paint is water-based, you can use water to wash it off of surfaces or clothing while it's still wet. It's best to quickly rinse it off with soap and water before it dries if it gets on clothing. Acrylic paint is much more difficult to remove from fabric once it dries, forming a layer akin to plastic. Therefore, when painting, try to wear an apron or old clothing. When you're not using a paint tube or bottle, make sure the caps are securely closed. Keep them somewhere dry and cool. This will prevent the paints from drying out. As long as you keep them sealed, you can use them for a long time because they have a good shelf life.
