FAQs
What materials are used in the magnetic pin and clip dispenser?
The magnetic pin and clip dispenser has a powerful internal magnet and is constructed from premium, long-lasting plastic for the body. The magnet holds the pins and clips in place, and the plastic provides a strong yet lightweight frame. The materials guarantee that it can withstand daily use (the magnet is long-lasting and rust-proof, and the plastic won't break easily), and the overall design is sleek and intended to look nice on your desk.
How many pins and clips can the dispenser hold?
Up to 100 standard-size pins, such as push pins, or roughly 20 to 25 paper clips can be held simultaneously in the magnetic holder section of our dispenser. It can also accommodate a large number of smaller magnetic items, such as binder clips. Any extras can be stored in the detachable base compartment, and a good number is kept close at hand for instant use on the top magnetic surface. It has more than enough space for standard office or classroom requirements.
Is the magnet strong enough to hold all the pins and clips securely?
Indeed, the dispenser's magnet is powerful enough for its intended use. Even if the desk is bumped, it will firmly hold the clips and pins on top of the dispenser so they won't fall off. Excess pins may slide off due to crowding if you overload it much beyond its designed capacity, but it holds them firmly under typical loads (about 100 pins or a few dozen clips). Furthermore, the dispenser features a detachable compartment underneath; if you throw extra pins or clips in there, the magnet will automatically catch them if they try to escape or remain in the cup, keeping the entire system neat.
Can the dispenser be used with other small metallic items like tacks or staples?
Yes, more than just paper clips and pins can be found in the dispenser. Other small metal office supplies like drawing pins (tacks), staples (though they are typically in strips, loose staples would stick), or binder clip handles can be stored in it. In essence, any small metal object that is drawn to a magnet will adhere to the top. It serves as a convenient catch-all for small metal objects on your desk. Just be mindful of the size: small and medium binder clips work well (their metal arms will stick), but very large ones won't fit on the tiny dispenser magnet area.
Is the dispenser suitable for both home and office use?
Indeed, the dispenser is made to be practical in both home and office environments. Its function is to arrange pins and clips, which is necessary for classrooms, craft rooms, home study tables, office desks, and any other location where push pins or paper clips are used. In addition to being small and practical for use at home, the style is neutral and businesslike enough for an office. It offers a practical solution to prevent these tiny objects from strewing around. It keeps sharp pins safely contained and aids in organisation in any situation.
Does the dispenser come with any pins or clips included?
Unless otherwise noted in a special bundle, the dispenser usually does not come pre-filled with pins or clips. It is offered for sale as an organiser that is empty. This enables you to fill it with the paper clips or pins of your choice. This product gives people a way to store the pins and clips they already have in their stash. We also maintain the focus on the organiser itself by excluding pins and clips by default. When you get the dispenser, make sure to buy more paper clips or push pins or use the ones you already have.
