FAQs
What sizes are available for the paper clips?
Our paper clips come in two main sizes: Small (standard) and Large (jumbo). The small standard paper clips are the common ones (approximately 28mm long) you use for a few sheets of paper. The large (jumbo) clips are bigger (around 50mm or more in length) and can hold thicker stacks of paper. By providing two sizes, we ensure you have the right clip for both light jobs and heavy jobs.
Are there different colors available for the paper clips?
Yes, the paper clips are available in assorted colors. We have packs that include clips coated in vibrant plastic colors (red, blue, yellow, green, etc.) which are great for color-coding documents or just adding a bit of fun to your paperwork. We also offer the classic metal finish paper clips (silvercolored) if you prefer the traditional look. The colored ones have a vinyl coating that makes them smooth and prevents rust, while also giving you the color variety.
Are the paper clips strong enough to hold multiple sheets of paper securely?
Absolutely. Our paper clips are made from quality steel wire that has a good balance of flexibility and strength. A single small clip can securely hold about 10-20 sheets of standard paper without slipping. The jumbo clips can hold even more, often up to 50-60 pages, thanks to their larger size and stronger grip. They won’t easily bend out of shape with normal use. Whether it’s a few pages or a thicker stack, these clips will keep your documents fastened together reliably.
Are the paper clips rust-resistant or coated to prevent corrosion?
Yes, our paper clips are designed to resist rust. The colored paper clips are vinyl-coated, which not only gives them color but also completely covers the metal and prevents any corrosion over time. The plain metal (silver) paper clips are made of galvanized steel or another rust-resistant alloy, meaning they have a protective finish. This ensures that even if they’re stored for a long time or used in slightly humid conditions, they won’t easily rust and stain your papers.
Can the paper clips be used with other office supplies, such as binders or folders?
Yes, you can use paper clips in conjunction with many other office supplies. For instance, you can clip documents to the inside of folders or binders for temporary holding. Many people also use paper clips as a makeshift bookmark in notebooks or planners, or to attach a business card to a brochure. The jumbo clips, in particular, can be used as a sort of binder clamp for thicker documents or to keep a folder closed. They’re quite versatile little tools around the office – not limited to just clipping papers together.
