What is a three compartment office tray used for?
Though it comes with three stacked trays rather than two, a three-compartment office tray is very similar to a two-compartment one. Does this tray fit A4 or letter size papers without bending them?

Each tray can also hold a sizable stack of paper. File folders, magazines, and full-size documents should all fit neatly inside each compartment. Nothing needs to be bent or folded; everything remains tidy.
Is the three-tier tray stable? Will it tip over if the top tray is full?
It is steady. The trays are joined, frequently as a single unit or with side supports, to maintain a low and balanced centre of gravity. The weight is primarily downward and won't tip even if the top tray is full of papers. For ease of access, it is obviously best to place the heavier stacks on the lower trays, but in most cases, it won't fall over. The base is sufficiently wide to sustain the height.
